Nancy Pelosi's election as Speaker of the House is historic, and I can't help thinking back to the days when women fought so hard for the right to vote. It is rare that we get to see true progress being made -- undisputeable evidence of human beings learning and evolving, but this is one time when we can all say, "See how far we've come?"
