• In high school he wore shorts every day even in a blizzard in the middle of winter.

• He learned one song on the piano for music class and it was In the Hall of the Mountain King. Can anyone say, great choice?

• He was the first person to reserve his copy of Fat Kid on Amazon at least 6 months before it was even released and brought it up to New York on vacation to have Kelly sign it at a book signing. Then he posed for publicity pictures and made himself look short so Kelly would look tall.

• He is a remarkable and true friend. No matter what you might be going through, he will always be there for you.

• Not only did he apologize for mocking me for being a fan of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, he gave the show a chance and actually became as big a fan as I am.
  

• When I cancelled my cable TV and could no longer watch Buffy, he taped it (and Angel) and mailed it to me in New York from Florida so I wouldn't miss an episode.

• Ribcage Warfare. (Don't ask.)

• When we used to play Mortal Kombat on his Super Nintendo, he didn’t beat the snot out of me, even though he could have done so very easily. Instead he watered down his ability, making it more fun for me to lose.

• He hugged me when I needed it even though he wasn’t a hugger at the time.

• He's a really great runner. Seriously. The dude can run.

• He’s dyed his hair more times than I have (Can you say yellow? Not blonde, yellow!)

• He can make really good perogies, even if he did set fire to my oven mitt.

• He's an awesome writer whose name you will probably see again at the end
  credits of an Oscar wining movie. Or maybe at the end of that cool indie film everyone's talking about.

• He’s moving back to New York for reasons that have nothing to do with me, but who cares. He’s moving back to New York!!!!
